I love these sweet berry boilies. It is a great way to use up leftover raspberries or blackberries etc. You can often find them on sale at a discount in the supermarket when they are near the end of their shelflife. It’s even cheaper if you collect your own from the hedgerow when you’re next out fishing the country.
While this recipe calls for polenta and soya flour I tend to find adding berries to the shredded wheat or another type of base mix works just as well.
But the sweetness of the sugar and berries really can attract the fish and when good bright food colour is used they are a really attractive homemade fishing bait option.
